  • Is there also a partner class?

Yes, there is indeed a partner class, typically scheduled towards the latter part of the course.

  • During this period, I’m unable to attend one Friday; is it feasible to reschedule this class?

Generally, the prearranged dates are fixed. We consider public holidays and school breaks. Nonetheless, we strive to accommodate everyone’s needs. If a significant number of participants are unavailable on the same day, we will rearrange that session.

  • What does the class structure look like?

The class starts with 50 minutes of physical activity, encompassing cardio training, strength training, relaxation techniques, and breathing exercises. Following this, there is a crucial coaching segment where you learn extensively about the function of your pelvic floor, your baby’s development, childbirth, associated breathing techniques, labor positions, permissible activities, and briefly touch upon sexuality during and after pregnancy. Depending on the subject matter, this segment lasts about 25 minutes. No physical exercise is involved in the partner class, which extends over two hours.

  • What topics are covered in the sessions after delivery?

In these two sessions, you will be taught how to activate your pelvic and abdominal muscles, and understand the do’s and don’ts during physical activities. The focus is primarily on group exercises adjusted to your current fitness level.

  • Can accommodations be made for someone in the group who is due much earlier?

Participation is permitted from 16 weeks of pregnancy onwards. Depending on the number of participants, we may adjust the grouping based on how advanced you are in your pregnancy.

  • I am undecided between Zwangerfit and Prenatal Yoga, as I want the course to be as comprehensive as possible.

As highlighted in the course description, the curriculum also includes relaxation and breathing exercises.

  • What topics will be addressed during the partner class?

In the partner class, we will recap all the material covered in previous sessions. Additionally, we will explain how partners can support during and after the delivery. Partners will also gain insights into the physiological changes in your body, enabling them to be more empathetic and supportive.
